Citizen Soldier for Life (CSFL) Program

 

The mission of the Citizen Soldier for Life program is to maintain a ready and resilient force capable of accomplishing State and Federal missions by connecting ARNG Soldiers, Dependents, Veterans and Retirees with financial and career education plus employment opportunities throughout the Soldiers Life Cycle.

The goal of the Citizen Soldier for Life program is to boost the resiliency of the ARNG force by enhancing military and civilian career opportunities and developing financially literate, transition ready, and employable Soldiers.

 

Career Readiness Counselor (CRC) for the Citizen Soldier for Life (CSFL)

What does a Career Readiness Counselor (CRC) do?  They deliver Career Readiness Standards to soldiers throughout their Soldier Life Cycle with emphasis during the initial phase of service, increase financial literacy of the Army National Guard (ARNG) soldiers and dependents with sanctioned financial literacy training, provide individual case management for each Citizen Soldier for Life (CSFL) participant, connect participants with available resources within the community and employment opportunities, prepare soldiers for transition into civilian careers and/or lifestyle, and facilitate the CSFL concept throughout a soldiers service in the ARNG and the communities they serve.  The goal of the CSFL program is to boost the resiliency of the ARNG force by enhancing military and civilian career opportunities and developing financially literate, transition ready, and employable soldiers.  Simply contact a CRC that’s close to you to connect with the CSFL Program.
