The Service Member and Family Support Division
The Service Member and Family Support Division is a combined effort of several offices including
The Family Assistance Center provides assistance with ID Cards, DEERS enrollment, TRICARE medical and dental issues, financial assistance, and legal, mental and emotional health referrals.
Family Readiness Support will assist in locating or operating a Family Readiness/Support Group.
Office of the Chaplain - Chaplains and Licensed Social Workers offer many workshops as well as individual options for your emotional and spiritual wellness.
The Youth Coordinator has information and programs for children of all ages.
The Transition Assistance Advisor is the statewide point of contact to provide information, support, and direction to service members, veterans, and their families on benefits and entitlements available through various state and federal agencies, to include the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Dept. of Labor-Veterans Employment and Training Service, Job Service North Dakota, and the Small Business Administration.
Reintegration is a program to welcome home service members, and assist them as well as their families, friends and employers with the transitional issues that accompany any deployment or separation.
Suicide Prevention has a team trained on how to deal with a person exhibiting suicidal signs and how to seek help for others or for themselves.
Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program
Military Outreach Program designed to provide assistance in finding resources to meet the needs of veterans, service members, and their families.
Military OneSource is a 24/7/365 resource for military members, spouses, and families providing a wide array of information, resources, and referrals.
The Wing Family Program Coordinator for the Air National Guard is located in Fargo. He is responsible for the Family Readiness Program; conducting briefings, readiness activities, training and support to families and airmen.
